Teacher Workshops

Learn new hands-on and field activities to bring the ocean and its inhabitants into your classroom and stimulate student interest and investigations. The activities will provide your students with a close up look at ocean ecosystems and how they are connected to those ecosystems. They'll learn what they can do to conserve our oceans and our world.

Each workshop will provide you with enough science, social studies, math and language arts activities, aquarium resources and personal experiences to build an integrated unit of study for your class.

To help you prepare for your field trip to the Aquarium, attend one of our free Field Trip Planning workshops. Aquarium educators will orient you to the Aquarium and share some classroom activities you can use to prepare your students for their visit and to follow up with after they return to school.
