This summer, join us for an Evening by the Bay. Enjoy the Aquarium with fewer crowds as you stroll through the galleries with a glass of wine and enjoy a special menu created by the Aquarium's culinary team featuring Cindy Pawlcyn.

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on each evening, you'll enjoy:

  • Live music from Monterey Jazz Festival musicians (view schedule)PDF
  • Wine and beer bar in the Marine Mammal Hall
  • Food options including a special menu for a light dinner or snack

Free parking for locals:

  • After 4 p.m. each day, the Cannery Row Parking Garage is free for local residents.
    (You'll need a current driver's license with a "939" zip code. Enter on Foam Street. Offer valid through December 31, 2011.)

Catch the WAVE:

  • Catch the WAVE (Waterfront Area Visitor Express) and ride the FREE MST Trolley. This is the best way to get around the City and avoid parking and traffic congestion.
  • The free MST Trolley operates on a daily basis starting Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., and until 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The route serves Downtown Monterey, Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Look for the green MST Trolley signs to board along the route.
